Our luggage is crafted using premium-quality materials and designed to withstand the demands of travel. However, even the most durable luggage can experience wear and tear after many journeys and adventures.
In this section, you will find information on repairs, warranty support, and replacement options, as well as guidance on what to do if your suitcase has been damaged during travel or requires servicing. We’re here to help keep your Samsonite luggage performing at its best for years to come.
WHERE CAN I REPAIR MY PRODUCT?

You can have your Samsonite product inspected and repaired at our authorised repair centre located in our Malta International Airport Outlet.

Our trained technicians will assess your product, determine whether the issue is covered under warranty, and advise you on the available repair options. If the repair is not covered by warranty, we can provide a repair quotation before any work is carried out.

For assistance before visiting the repair centre, please contact our Customer Care team at customercare@vfgroup.mt.

HOW MUCH WOULD A REPAIR COST?

All Samsonite products submitted for repair are carefully inspected and assessed by qualified technicians at our authorised repair centre.

If the product is found to have a manufacturing or material defect covered under the warranty, the repair will be carried out free of charge.

If the issue is not covered by the warranty, you may request a repair quotation before any work begins. We will provide a detailed estimate, and the repair will only proceed once you have approved the quotation.

In the unlikely event that your product is deemed beyond economical repair or cannot be repaired, it will be returned to you at no additional cost.

Our goal is to ensure a transparent and straightforward repair process, keeping you fully informed at every stage.

CAN I EASILY REPAIR MY PRODUCT MYSELF?

Many Samsonite products are designed with easy maintenance and repair in mind, allowing certain spare parts to be replaced at home with basic tools.

For example, components such as wheels, handles, or other replaceable parts can often be accessed by removing the screws from the inside of the suitcase. On fabric suitcases, you can open the internal zipped lining and gently move the fabric aside to access the required area.

If you are unsure whether your suitcase can be repaired at home or need assistance identifying the correct replacement part, please contact our Customer Care team at customercare@vfgroup.mt and we will be happy to help.

WHICH DUCUMENTS DO I NEED FOR AN INSPECTION OF MY PRODUCT?

For an inspection of your Samsonite product, you will need to provide a copy of your proof of purchase or order confirmation. Alternatively, if you have your warranty card, it should include the purchase date for verification.

These documents ensure we can accurately process your request and assist you promptly with any service needs.

  • A copy of your proof of purchase (e.g. receipt or invoice)

  • An order confirmation from an online purchase

  • Alternatively, a warranty card that includes the purchase date

IS REPAIR AVAILABLE FOR DEFECTS NOT COVERED BY THE WARRANTY?

Yes. Even if the defect is not covered under the Samsonite warranty, your product can still be repaired, subject to the availability of spare parts.

Our authorised repair centre will first inspect your item and determine whether the repair is covered under warranty. If it is not, we will provide you with a clear repair quotation outlining the parts that need to be replaced or repaired, along with the total cost of the repair.

You can then decide whether you wish to proceed with the repair. No work will be carried out until you approve the quotation.

If you choose not to proceed, your product will be returned to you free of charge.
